Purpose of the position

  • Assist Payroll Supervisor with payroll calculation and smooth administrative handling of all our personnel files from hiring new colleagues to processing their departure and providing employees with necessary social documents (such as C4 forms, employment certificates, etc.).
  • Support the Compensation and Benefits team in managing various payroll related projects and ensure proper communication to the employees on their regular inquiries.

Main activities and responsibilities

  • Ensure support for payroll administration in collaboration with payroll agencies, as well as timely, accurate and error-free payroll processing for the different divisions.
  • Collect and prepare all payroll data and documents.
  • Support Payroll Supervisor in verifying the payroll results and preparing instructions for payment.
  • Be in contact with the internal accounting department to ensure correct bookkeeping of the salary costs.
  • Receive and respond to the daily employee demands, questions and communication related to all payroll and benefits related matters.
  • Carry out administrative duties related to the employee benefit plans.
  • Provide follow-up for requests for parental leave, time off, etc.

Education requirements and qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent HR related academic level
  • At least two years’ experience in payroll
  • Previous experience with SDWORX (eBlox & Blox HR tools) is an asset.
  • Good knowledge in excel is a must, + MS Office in general.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry is an asset.
  • Good command of the English (written and spoken). French and Dutch are an asset.
  • Highly level of organisation, precision and focus on details
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Team player with good communication skills
