About the vacancy…

The LMCC Coordinators ensure good coordination between line maintenance providers and minimize the impact of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the ability of the fleet to operate the scheduled flights. They are the focal point of contact of Air Belgium for the Line Station providers for routine matters as scheduled maintenance, disruptions, changes in aircraft schedule, needs of Flying Support Engineers and Ensure accurate reporting over the technical disruptions, and AIMS data accuracy on the matter.

LMCC Coordinators Monitor deferred defects, communicate to all affected stakeholders on generated impacts and plan corrective actions with the contracted Maintenance In addition, they are the central coordination and communication point in case of AOG. This includes parts ordering and logistics, MRO liaison, internal and external customers reporting on progress, and out-of-hours liaison with the OEM and providers AOG support. Ensure accurate AIMS update accordingly. LMCC also monitor active fleet via in-flight monitoring and reporting systems (Airbus AirmanWeb, Boeing AHM, SkyWise…) to anticipate technical issues and mitigate operational impacts.

About the profile...

Since teamwork, cooperation and communication are key in this position, the ideal candidate communicates effectively with all layers within the organization as well as with external parties. She or he has good organizational skills and is well organized to keep a clear overview on ongoing situations. 

We are looking for candidates with five years’ experience as line maintenance technician on complex aircraft and two years’ experience in a CAMO environment.

Technical knowledge of systems of modern Airbus (A320/330/340/350/380) or Boeing (747/777/787) aircraft as well as a good command of spoken and written English is a must. Knowledge of French and/or  Dutch as well as holding a Part 66 licence are important assets.
