Mont-Saint-Guibert, October 3, 2019
Less than three months after tickets for its flights to Martinique and Guadeloupe went on sale, Air Belgium is delighted to announce that it will extend its schedule to the Antilles up to 5 September 2020.
Initially scheduled to operate on a seasonal basis from 7 December 2019 up until 29 April 2020, the two weekly return flights (Wednesdays and Saturdays) between Brussels Charleroi, Fort-de-France and Pointe-à-Pitre will be extended to run up until 5 September 2020 inclusive in order to cover the summer holiday season. The decision was taken following the success of ticket sales on these routes from customers in Belgium as well as northern France.
As a reminder: Brussels Charleroi airport is situated 1h 15mins from Lille and 2h 20mins from Metz by car. Easy to access and with fast customs procedures, cost-effective and French-speaking, the airport offers a preferred alternative for passengers from the north who prefer not to travel to Paris Orly airport.
In order to facilitate the journey for passengers from the Hauts-de-France region as well as Luxembourg, Air Belgium has also set up a shuttle bus service with transportation company Flibco from Lille Europe rail station.
Tickets are available for sale as of now for the period from 30 April 2019 to 5 September 2020 via the GDS booking system and can therefore be booked via travel agents. Ticket sales via the Air Belgium website will start on 21 October 2019.
