Founded in 2016 with headquarters in Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, Air Belgium now focuses exclusively on cargo operations out of Belgian airports carried out on its own behalf and on behalf of third-party customers via ACMI and charter. Currently operating a fleet of 2 Boeing 747-8 aircraft primarily serving routes to China and destinations worldwide, Air Belgium is poised for growth with plans to expand its fleet in 2027, further reinforcing the CMA CGM Group’s position as a leading player in global air freight.
Your Role:
As a flight crew member, your primary responsibility is to support the safe and efficient operation of flights under the guidance of the Captain and First Officer, contributing to the highest level of safety and service. Your role is essential in upholding the company’s reputation through your careful, professional, and mindful behaviour.
What are you going to do?
- Actively participate in flight briefings and ensure awareness of all flight specifics.
- Assist in ensuring the highest on-time performance.
- Support the Captain and First Officer in addressing any problems or concerns raised during flight operations.
- Assist with safety and security procedures during the flight, following relevant protocols under the supervision of the Captain and First Officer.
- Perform pre-flight inspections, systems monitoring, and technical calculations as required.
- Act as an ambassador for the company, promoting its values.
- Ensure efficient teamwork and assist colleagues when needed.
- Perform other duties relevant to the achievement of the company’s objectives within your competencies.
What are we looking for?
- EASA CPL/Frozen ATPL with ME and IR
- ATPL Theory exams passed
- Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate
- EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate (valid and current)
- ELP Level 5 or above
- EU Passport Holder
Please note that the above-mentioned ratings must be present or were endorsed on your EASA license and a clean background check will be required in view of the obtention of an airport badge delivered by the competent authorities.
