Your Role:

As Crewing Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless flight operations through effective crew management and rostering. Reporting to the Crew Resource Manager, you will oversee daily crewing operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for flight crew members. Your role is essential to maintaining operational continuity, ensuring all flights are adequately crewed while adhering to safety regulations and company standards.

What are you going to do?

  • Monitor actual crewing performance daily in terms of legality and productivity, taking corrective actions where necessary to ensure the realization of company objectives.
  • Supervise occurrence reports follow-up to meet all legal requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor crew rosters on a day-to-day basis to ensure all flights are covered and crew duty times comply with competent authority and company requirements.
  • Make timely roster changes to accommodate flight programme adjustments, delays, crew sickness, and prevent any service disruptions.
  • Maintain AIMS (crew management system) up to date, providing Flight Operations management with clear visibility of the current situation at all times.
  • Serve as the primary contact person for flight crew members regarding all changes related to flight schedules, hotel accommodation, and transportation.
  • Prepare and issue GENDECs (General Declarations) when required to support operational needs.
  • Liaise with taxi companies and shuttle services to organize ground transportation for crews in accordance with company rules and standards.
  • Perform hotel bookings for crews following company policies, maintaining an updated HOTAC (hotel accommodation) database.
  • Communicate efficiently with handling agents on operational requirements to ensure secure, efficient, and on-time air network operations.
  • Ensure crew rosters are published in due time in cooperation with the Crew Planning Manager, covering the company’s flight programme while adhering to all competent authority regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with the Flight Operations Administration department to efficiently integrate all training activities into crew rosters.
  • Undertake any other duties that contribute to achieving department objectives within your area of competence.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in airline crewing, crew planning, or flight operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations, crew duty time limitations, and fatigue management requirements (EASA FTL knowledge preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational changes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of liaising effectively with crew members, management, and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to roster management and regulatory compliance.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations.
  • Proficiency in crew management systems (AIMS or similar) and MS Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operations.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
  • Team player with a customer service orientation and commitment to operational excellence.
