Purpose of the position...
Manage issues arising in PSS and other related systems (DCS, GDS, Revenue accounting).
Provide PSS Support to users and manage incidents until their resolution for L1 and L2, follow the escalation process with suppliers for L3.
Document processes / workflows.
Creation and updating of user’s guidelines / manuals.
Train end users of the PSS.
Troubleshooting and optimization oriented.
Assist PSS Admin as required
Main activities and responsibilities…
Set up new users and remove terminated users.
Train new users.
Maintain the admin of the PSS system (creation of seatmaps, SSR codes, etc).
Manage issues raised through the PSS issue tracking system.
Raise and track issues with vendors.
Support user acceptance testing and ensure users are fully acquainted with any.
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Build internal SharePoint site with user documentation, manuals and IT policies.
Report on issues and enhancement requests.
Perform any other duties that aim to the achievement of the department objectives within individual competences.
Display a positive, open and cooperative behaviour in order to facilitate a good relationship inside and outside the department, avoid and help solve conflicts.
Comply with Company policies, values and ethics.
Comply with local, national legislations and health & safety standards.
Report to hierarchy any hazards, non-compliances and risks whether to employees or to the company.
Requirements and qualifications
Knowledge of airline ticketing.
Knowledge of GDS, PSS systems or airport DCS.
Experience/ Familiarity within airline or travel centre on travel technology or ticketing.
Experience working with external vendors.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills in English (other EU language are advantages).
